Another good point man. Well personally I dont think theres a SINGLE reason why Megadeth slowed down, or Marty left. And for anyone who might have been getting the wrong message, i think marty friedman is one of the best guitarists in the world

Yes, however, in "Risk" Dave let the producer have a lot more liberties as to how the album was made. There's an interview with Dave where he said that sometimes he would walk into the studio and find a guitarist he didn't know recording a part he didn't recognize for one of HIS songs.
