There are many diet programs and websites out there all touting their product as the best thing since sliced bread (sorry about that, but I could not resist). Anyway, the fat loss for idiots program, also known as the fat loss 4 idiots and fat loss for beginners program is the hottest diet on the internet today. I am usually very skeptical about diet programs that get a lot of press because I don’t go for fad diets. I did some research on my own and went to the various weight loss forums and did some looking around there. When people are not happy with a program, they are usually very vocal. I saw that there were many people who enjoyed success with the program and they all agreed that it was simple to follow and had no weird dietary requirements. I was convinced that this was something I could succeed at so I tried it out. Below are my conclusions based on my experience doing the fat loss for idiots diet.

First, I went to the fat loss for idiots website to download the program. As of this writing, you have two options download the diet alone, or with the online calculator. I chose the complete package. I read the diet plan and using their online diet generator was able to create a customized day by day menu. I have to say that I really liked the idea that my every meal was spelled out clearly and included foods that I was able to choose from the food list. I should also mention that the diet favors simple, unprocessed foods without complicated recipes and weird ingredients so the meal preparation was really minimal. For me, this is a big plus. With many diets I was on previously, the daunting task of meal preparation and measuring and all that was a real drag, let me tell you. For those of you who work and commute, I have to say that the meals are portable and you don’t have to worry about heating things up so you can eat your meals anywhere.

The basic structure of the fat loss for idiots diet is to eat 4 meals each day and space them about 2.5 to 3 hours apart. You are also expected to finish eating before 7:00PM. I have advocated these two ideas for a long time. The idea of having smaller meals evenly spaced apart serves several purposes. First and foremost, you are kept from getting really hungry and cheating on your diet. Not having that starving feeling really helps you lose weight. Second, by eating smaller meals more often stimulates your metabolism. Keeping your metabolism going is very important. If your metabolism stalls, your weight loss will stall with it. It is worth noting that many diet programs and websites tell you not to eat your last meal of the day late. This is good advice for any diet. If your body does not have time to burn these calories, it will store the excess as fat, something to avoid when you are on a diet.

Another main ingredient of the diet is the concept of changing food groups around. The diet generator on the fat loss for idiots website keeps your body off balance by varying the proteins and carbohydrates and fats. By constantly mixing the ratios, your body does not adapt to the changes fast enough and the weight loss does not stall. But does the diet work? Did it work for me?

I stuck with the entire 11 day fat loss for idiots diet plan and lost about 10 pounds. I did not exercise during this period. I was about 35lbs. overweight when I started the diet. You need to be really careful when you read what people say on the internet – especially if they are trying to sell something. So when I was told that you could place your adverts on Google Adwords for free I was more than skeptical.

Mind you, I know there are many people making a bucketload of money on the internet, and then there are the gurus who tell you they are and spend all their time trying to peddle the latest internet story to their list. So when one of these money-makers comes out of the woodwork it is worth listening – but take everything they say with a pinch of salt.

Now out of the depths of New York comes a doctor who says he has been advertising on Google Adwords for free - to the tune of $87 Million in Google Pay-Per-Click Ads FREE! And that as a result he has been able to make a fortune. No one has ever heard of this guy but he has been quietly making money – a lot of money – for years.

No more worries about the cost of your Ads

Just imagine it. There you are with a new product to sell. You know what keywords to advertise under, you have roughed out a few ads, and you are ready to go. But the top bid is around $3.00, and you don’t want to spend more than $1.00, otherwise you will not make any money. Then you find that a bid of $1.00 will put you on 23rd position, which will be seen by hardly anyone. Obviously, this market is too competitive.

Well, if you have been struggling with your Adwords ads, then you have got to know more. So I have investigated this system fully, and here is what I found:

1.This is no scam.This is a method you can use so your advertising effectively costs you nothing.

2.It works with any form of PPC advertising, such as Google Adwords, Kanoodle, MSN, MIVA, Yahoo Search, or any other one you like.

3.It is perfectly legal, and in fact Google and others are quite happy for this system to be used because they make more money from it.

4.There are two things you need to do to make this a success:

A) Write good Ads. Actually this is not so difficult so long as you study the Ads that are doing well on the keyword of your choice.

B) Bid on only the most targeted keywords. For example, if you are selling or preselling car navigation systems don’t bid on cars, bid on XYZ car navigation, XYZ GPS system and so on – where XYZ is the product name.

For example, Google shows you how to place your ads, and even suggests keywords for you. You can use Google to find keywords but remember to use only the ones are directly related to your product. You will get the rest of the information you need to make this work in the product.

I can’t tell you what the secret is, but I can tell you that this is a genuine system that applied correctly will allow you to use Pay-per-Click advertising at no cost. Yes, you will be able to bid without worrying about the cost, and if you have anything like a decent product you can make a ton of money. If your product is no good, just advertise some of the great products around as an affiliate and you will make money.

Search Engine Marketing Guide: Things To Do To Boost Search Engine Positions And Web Site Traffic For 2006 And Beyond

Search Engine Marketing is very important if your want your online business to succeed. It is all about good quality high value (unique is best) content, it is what the search engine want as it is what the searchers are looking for. This is just a quick list of the top of my head but is enough to keep you busy.

• Articles: this is the most powerful way for 2006 and beyond to generate good quality one-way in bound links. I will submit them to article directories and submission services, do a search on your favourite search engine for article submission services or article directories to find relevant ones for your industry. Note it is a good idea to use relevant keywords and phrases in your articles but only if they make sense.

• Press Releases: another sure fire way to generate quality links from authority sites. Press releases are much more powerful that advertising as they are objective. Again search in your favourite search engine information on how to write a good press release if you are not familiar with them for example type in ‘tips for writing a good press release’. Then do a search for good press release submission services PRWeb.com is a very popular service

• Add regular fresh content to the site: Your Search engine marketing will only succeed if you do this - you could reuse the articles used for submissions etc… But this would probably not be the best method. Although a good idea would be to write a series of articles, use a few of them or a shortened version or an abstract (still with good quality unique content of course) for submission to the directories. Make sure you tell the readers that further articles and information can be found on your website, enticing them to visit your site to read the rest of the articles.

Make a point to add fresh content of a regular basis. For example if you are in the Overseas property industry you should add new properties, buyers guides, area guides, country guides, case studies, customer testimonials, resources (i.e. weather, travel info, car hire etc… these can be affiliate links to generate additional streams of income), again I can help.

Set yourself up a Blog and make a post to ping the search engines every time you add fresh content to your site, this will alert the search engine spiders who will come crawling to review and index your new pages. Again if you don’t know much about Blogs, use your favourite search engine to find out how to set one up. Wordpress.com is a popular service.

• Joint ventures: i.e. you email your database in return for an email to another company’s database. You know your industry you should know who to tap up for a joint venture. Don’t simply view similar websites as competitors, this is short sighted instead view them as opportunities and colleagues. You can swap links, exchange content (publish each other articles), email each other databases etc… use your imagination, get creative, there is enough traffic for most websites to succeed. As long as your website adds value and offers good quality unique content you will succeed.

• Hooks: you can offer your visitors something of value in return for them signing up to your newsletter. For example, again if you are an overseas property company Free Brochures, Buyers guide, legal or tax information

• Competitions: use incentive based viral marketing i.e. you can enter your site visitors into a competition for every friend or colleague they tell about your site or register for your mailing list.

• Optimise your web pages and articles: as this article was talking about using fresh content for your search engine marketing strategy I thought it best show you how to create an optimised page, for those of you that don’t know how.

In my experience I have found that it is important to optimise each webpage for a maximum of two phrases.

Title = phrase one | phrase two

Also try to keep your Meta keywords limited to a few, use the same two phrases first as in your title although you can bulk it out with another phrase, like so

Meta keywords = phrase one, phrase two, phrase three

The Meta description must also start with your keywords but be descriptive at the same time, like so

Meta Description =. Phrase one, information for about phrase two from your company / website name

Alt tags (first 3 images on the page should contain the phrases but also describe the picture/image, like so

Alt= phrase one company name logo

Alt= phrase two picture

Alt= phrase one photos

It is also very important to have header tags with the keyphrase in, like so

Start the page copy with a header tag

Then the first 50 words must also contain the two phrases, like so (I have underlined the phrases.

It is recommended to have between 500 – 1300 words on the page with a keyphrase weight of 2 – 5%

The key phrases should be strategically placed in an hour glass shape in the copy, i.e. a few at the top a couple in the middle and a few at the bottom.

But don’t over do it, make the copy read naturally with all the words in context.

It is also recommended to have the phrases in bold and italic somewhere on the page as this tells the search engines they are important, I usually put them in the footer like so.

Last but not least it is recommended to have your key phases in hyper links i.e. linking text

For example you can have anchor links to the different header tags on the page for navigation or run of site link at the bottom of the page.

And there you have it, a quick guide on how to optimise a webpage.

Use these SEO techniques for all pages, articles, and fresh content you add to the site and you can’t go wrong, you are giving the search engines what they want, easy to understand content rich pages, regularly updated.
